Artist's Description
Water has always been a great fascination of mine and the subject matter of most of my artwork.. This very recent oil painting (still drying!) is based on an image of a reflection on a rippling water surface with colorful Koi fish and plants underneath the water surface. Rich Thalo and Cerulean blues, magentas, greens and splashes or red, yellow and white are throughout the painting.
About Nancy Mueller
Nancy graduated from University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a BFA in Fine and Applied Art/Painting. She has worked over 38 years as a professional picture framer but has been an artist most of her life. Now she devotes all of her free time to developing and creating her artwork to share with the world. "She is not really alive unless she is creating." In our day-to-day life, we overlook and do not appreciate the beauty in the little things around us.
